• Limited Status Enrollment Students
  • Take course work for official USC credit without having been formally admitted to a degree program.
  • Candidates for "Limited" enrollment must have a B.S. degree in engineering or a closely related field (such as mathematics or science) from a regionally-accredited institution with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA (4.0 scale).
  • A maximum of 12 units may be taken as a Limited graduate student and later applied for credit toward and advenced degree or graducate certificate. Students must be formally admitted to a degree program before they are allowed to register in additional units beyond the 12-unit limit.

** DEN@Viterbi requires that all examinations are proctored at established proctoring centers, or through proctoring resources by DEN@Viterbi approved corporations. It is important that all prospective students interested in pursuing their program from outside of the United States are approved prior to applying for admission into their desired program.
